Why this issue is happening
For one or more products that you have submitted using the item group ID [item_group_id], the color [color] variant attribute is missing.
How to fix your issue
To fix this issue, submit a color [color] variant attribute for all products in the same group.
Variant attributes help to differentiate products that are similar, but vary by distinct features such as size [size], color [color] , condition [condition], or gender [gender]. To ensure that we can correctly identify your products, provide the same set of variant attributes for all products that use the same item group ID [item_group_id].
Note: All variants of the same product must have the same item group ID. For example, if you sell shirts that come in a range of colors and sizes, these will all need the same item group ID.
Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon
above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.
Submit a color
[color] variant for each affected product.
Select Save.
Fix multiple products at once
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon
above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Select the download icon
to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and submit a color
[color] variant for each affected product.
Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
Next steps
After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
