In this help center, you can find content for both Merchant Center Next and the classic Merchant Center experience. Look for the logo at the top of each article to make sure you're using the article for the Merchant Center version that applies to you. 

How to Fix: No access to the linked Google Ads accounts

You may experience access issues with your Merchant Center account if it is configured as an advanced account or if your Google Ads account is configured as a My Client Center. If you receive a “No access to the linked Google Ads accounts” error on the Shopping ads tab in Merchant Center, try adding yourself as a standard user.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. In the upper right corner of the navigation menu, click the Settings and Billing icon Tools and setting menu icon [Gear]. Under “Account”, click Access and security.
  3. Click the plus button . Enter your email address and select the “Standard” access level for your invitee.
  4. Click Send invitation.
  5. You’ll receive a confirmation email. To accept the invitation, click the appropriate link in the email and complete the steps that follow.
  6. After accepting the invitation, you'll receive a notification in your account.

“No edit access to any linked Google Ads account”

You don’t have edit access to any linked Google Ads account. Contact your Google Ads account administrator to get access.

“Missing 2-step verification for your account”

One or more of the linked Google Ads accounts requires you to enable 2-Step Verification on your Google Account. Learn how to keep your account secure by enabling 2-Step Verification

“Unable to view ad campaign information within a multi-client account”

Ad campaign information doesn’t currently display within a multi-client account, only with the sub-account that is running the ad.
