Use Meet hardware to live-stream video meetings

You can live-stream a video meeting with Google Meet hardware. The Google Workspace administrator who manages Google Meet for your organization must enable live streaming.

Also, you need to set up a live stream in Google Calendar. For details, see Set up a live stream.

Meet hardware

1. In a meeting, tap More actions   Activities  Live streaming.
2. In a meeting, tap Start streaming  Start live stream.
3. To stop streaming, tap Stop streaming  Stop live stream.

Chromebox

1. To start streaming, in a meeting, click Settings Start streamingAccept.

2. To stop streaming, click Stop streamingStop streaming.

Chromebase

1. In a meeting, tap More Start streaming.

2. Confirm that you want to start streaming.
   At the top left, you’ll see Live. 

3. To stop streaming, tap Stop streaming and confirm that you want to stop streaming.
