Share your reactions in Google Meet hardware

Just like on your personal device in a Google Meet meeting, you can add a reaction during a meeting on your Google Meet hardware device.

Learn how the reactions settings work

  • Reactions are on by default in the Google Admin console, unless your organization’s administrator turns them off.
  • Administrators can turn reactions on or off for your whole organization or for certain users. For details, go to Manage Meet settings (for admins).
  • If an admin turns on reactions, meeting hosts can turn reactions off for their meeting.
  • If an admin or host turns off reactions, participants can see, but not click, Reactions .

Send a reaction from your device

You can only use reactions on a Chromebox device if you attach a touchscreen.
  1. On the touchscreen, tap Reactions .
  2. (Optional) To change the color of the reaction, tap Skin tone .
