Hi all, Google announced today that the unlimited (24 hour) call limit for personal accounts will be extended through March 31, 2021.
As we look ahead to a holiday season with less travel and important milestones like family reunions, PTA meetings and weddings hosted over video, we want to continue helping those who rely on Meet to stay in touch over the coming months. As a sign of our commitment, today we’re continuing unlimited Meet calls (up to 24 hours) in the free version through March 31, 2021 for Gmail accounts.

Hi Gopinath Codur: if you are using a free personal account there is a 60 minute time limit. However, that limit is not being enforced until September 30.
I believe maximum meeting length when you are signed into a G Suite account is 300 hours

Karen Bratton: G Suite for Non-Profits should not have a 60 minute limit after September 30. I believe the limit for G Suite accounts is something like 300 hours.

P.S. I do not want to use the G Suite since the verification process is rather complicated, and when I try to use the Workouts it keeps telling me that I already can use google Meets with my personal, free account. Is there any solution to this, maybe?

Jun Kbyu: thank you for pointing that out. That has been updated recently.
Note that this article still says 300 hours for G Suite Essentials. I am not sure if that is up to date:
Do you need to be constantly in the meeting for more than 24 hours? If you are not using a G Suite for Education account, you should be able to rejoin a meeting using the same Meet link.
You may also want to contact G Suite/Google Workspace support to find out if there are alternatives.

Hello LEFTER CRISTINA: you can currently run Meet meetings up to 24 hours with your personal account. Google extended that until March 31, 2021.
If you are only interested in Meet features, you might look into getting Google Workspace Essentials, which does not come with Gmail or other Google Workspace features.

We are organising online lectures. We want to use a google meet platform to connect with our customers (7-10 users on one time). Do we as a lecturer need to buy premium version of google meet ?
We want to be connected with cam and presentation for 2-3 hours daily.
Please help :-)))

Bartosz: if you have a free Google account, you can hold meetings of up to 100 participants for up to 24 hours.
You will not have access to dial in numbers, recording, q&a, polls or other advanced features
You can learn more about Google Workspace accounts that offer more features: https://support.google.com/a/answer/10037875
Google Workspace Essentials is focused on Meet features:
