Use the Saved tab

You can use the Saved tab to find personal content like:
  • Your recently saved places
  • Your nearby saved places
  • Your lists and lists you follow
  • Labeled places
  • Your Timeline of visited places
  • My Maps
  • Reservations from Gmail and Calendar

Find saved places

Important: The content in the Saved tab depends on your activity on Google Maps.

Recently saved

Find places you’ve saved within the last few months. If you haven’t saved any places in the last 180 days, “Recently saved” will be unavailable.
  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. You can scroll through “Recently saved” to find places you have recently added to your lists.
  4. Tap a place for more details and its location on the map.
  5. Tap the list name to jump directly to the list.

Nearby saved

Find nearby places that you’ve saved. If your saved places aren’t within 25km (about 16mi), “Nearby saved” will be unavailable.
  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. You can scroll through the “Nearby saved” cards to find nearby places that you have added to your lists.
  4. Tap a place for more details and its location on the map.
  5. Tap the list name to jump directly to the list.

Visited

If you have Location History turned on, you’ll get quick access to your Timeline of visited places and activities.
  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. Scroll down to find links to your Timeline.

Under “Visited”, you can find the following information: Yesterday, Places, Cities, and Countries/Regions you have visited. Tap any of them for more detailed information in Timeline.

Your lists

  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. Scroll down to find your lists. You’ll also find lists you follow.
  4. Tap New list to create a new list.

Reservations

If you have Web & App Activity turned on, you can check the Saved tab for details about upcoming events like flights, restaurant reservations, or hotel bookings.
  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. Scroll down and tap Reservations.

Following

You can view and manage all the places that you follow.
  1.  Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. Scroll down and tap Following.

Maps

Find a list of maps you’ve saved or created on My Maps.
  1. Open Google Maps Maps.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Saved.
  3. Below your list, tap Maps.
