Publish & connect 360 photos with the Street View app

You can publish your 360 photos together with the Street View app. You can create links with the Street View ready tools or a similar application.

Before you start

Make sure your pictures are:

  • At least 7.5MP (4K) with a 2:1 aspect ratio.
  • No more than 75 megabytes in size.

Step 1: Publish your photos

  1. Open the Street View app Street View.
  2. To manage your photos, under "Profile." use the filters.
  3. Tap the photo you want to publish.
  4. Tap More More and then Publish.
  5. Tap Publish. Your photo may show up on Maps soon.
Find older photos

You can find 360 photos that you published before November 2016 in the Geo Panoramas folder in Google Photos.

Tip: When you delete, move, share, or hide 360 photos from the Geo Panoramas folder, those photos are deleted from Google Maps.

Step 2: Connect your photos

You can create links between your 360 photos manually with a third-party publishing tool. Tools that are Street View ready are listed on the Street View website, but other publishing tools may also be available.

After you create links in the chosen tool and publish them to Google Maps, allow up to 4 days for processing to complete.

If you’re a developer, you can create your own tool with the Street View Publish API.
