Street View coverage and updates

Where Street View is available

Street View is available in many countries and cities across the globe. Check out our map of worldwide Street View coverage below. Street View images are available for the blue portions of the map. We're working to expand our coverage to more of the world.

You can also see coverage for a particular area of the map.

  1. Open Google Maps.
  2. Navigate to the area of the map for which you’d like to see Street View imagery.
  3. Click the Pegman in the bottom right corner.
  4. Any roads which have Street View imagery will appear highlighted in blue.
  5. Click on a highlighted part of the map to see Street View.

Update Street View images in my area

We update Street View imagery on a regular basis. To see where we're currently driving, go to Behind the Scenes: Street view and look for "Where is Street View?" The locations are as accurate and up-to-date as possible. From time to time, factors outside of our control (such as weather, road closures, etc.) may prevent us from updating Street Views.

Note that we can’t take requests to drive a specific area.

Blur Street View images

We try to keep the imagery up-to-date and free of personal information (such as faces or license plates). If you found an image that needs to be blurred or updated, follow instructions here to have Street view content blurred.
