The Diagnostics page allows you to identify and fix issues with your product feeds. Fixing issues enables you to effectively contribute product data and to access accurate analytics. Recently, we made sweeping updates to the Diagnostics page to help you resolve issues with your product data more quickly and efficiently, and to offer an experience that feels familiar to Merchant Center users.
What changed?
- Separate item and attribute issues reporting: The previous Diagnostics page showed you a mix of issues that affect entire products and ones that only affect an attribute. The new version design simplifies issue reporting by dividing product issues into item issues and attribute issues. This gives you a better understanding of problems affecting your feeds and allows you to address the most important problems first.
- Updated filters: Previously, you were able to only filter by destination and country. Now, we’ve added additional filtering options. You’re able to filter issues by attribute, feed, issue type and start date in addition to filtering by destination and country.
- Export functionality: The previous Diagnostics page also lacked an export functionality. In the new version, we’ve added “CSV export” functionality to allow users to download issues. This was one of the top requested features for Diagnostics.
- Consistency with Merchant Center: And finally, the new Diagnostics design is consistent with Merchant Center Diagnostics, making it easier for users who use both products.
