attribute to describe the cut or fit of your product. This information helps create accurate filters, which users can use to narrow search results.
When to use
Required for all products in an item group that vary by size.
Required for all clothing. Recommended for all products for which size is an important, distinguishing attribute.

Minimum requirements
These are the requirements you'll need to meet to upload data for your products. If you don't follow these requirements, we'll disapprove this attribute and let you know in the Diagnostics page of your Manufacturer Center account.

- “regular”
- “petite”
- “oversize”
- “maternity”
Best practices
These are best practices that can help you go beyond the basic requirements to optimize your product data for performance.
- Submit the size type whenever it’s relevant. If you don’t include a size type

, we’ll use as the defaultregular
. If that’s not the right size type, then users could be misled, which could affect your sales. Do not submit size type[size_type]
for non-apparel products, as these will be rejected. - Submit the size system

attribute. To also explain which country’s sizing system your product uses, also submit the size system [size system
