Step 5: Submit bids

If you are onboarding after April 3, 2019, all Hotel campaigns will be managed within Google Ads. You will need to create an account in Google Ads and link to your Hotel Center account in order to start bidding. You should not set up campaign or bids in Hotel Center account.

This article explains how to submit your Hotel Ads bids.

Steps to run Hotel Ads campaigns

Hotel Ads campaign is now available in Google Ads.

1. Follow the instruction of creating a Google Ads account.

  • If you already have an existing master Google Ads account, we recommend you to set up a child Google Ads account for Hotel Ads within the current master account.
  • If you don't currently have a Google Ads account, we recommend you to set up a master Google Ads account, and a child Google Ads account for Hotel Ads campaigns.

2. Once your child Google Ads account is set up, you can follow this instruction to link your Google Ads account with your account in Hotel Ads Center where you set up your feeds. The two accounts have to link before we can activate Hotel Ads.

How to submit bids

To submit your Hotel Ads bids, follow the steps below:

  1. Read the bidding user guide.
  2. Work with your Sales Account Manager to build a bidding strategy and set your budget.
  3. Submit your bids via Hotel Ads Center or Bids API 2.0.
