Google Play gift card scam - Realised the scam and redeemed codes before the scammer, now what?

I nearly got scammed by a Google Gift Card scammer but realised the scam just as I forwarded the cards to my 'boss'. I quickly redeemed all of the voucher codes and now I have NZD $600 of Google Play cash to spend. I would like a refund as I have no use for the Google Play store but have no idea how to contact Google to ask the question.

I can prove that I'm not the scammer as I don't have an android device and have had my google account for years that the money is aligned to etc.

I have tried finding a way to communicate to Google via phone, email, or online chat however I can't find any NZ number for Google, no email address and the "Chat support is currently not available.". Unfortunately Google hasn't responded to this community board either.

I also got scammed today! I was not aware of this! I didn't end up emailing the codes, because I got suspicious at their sense of urgency. But... now I am stick with these Google play cards that I cannot use or get refunded at the store. I submitted a claim to Google and they said that I am free to use the cards on their site to purchase books, music and other crap that I don't need... that was no help!

I hope this information clears up this unforgettable experience. I am 81 years of age, and needn't deserve that loss of money. These scammers are pretty smooth and convincing and I fell for it, as I usually don't answer those phony telephone numbers. .

I didn't know what a google play card was and of course the scammer told me where to go in the store. I feel fortunate that I detected a rat, as I was about to go to Canadian Tire and buy more cards for him------Marlene Smith.

I did NOT order a google play gift card for $500. It is trying to authorize thru PayPal whom I've already contacted as a fraudulent email.

I canceled a cheap flight, so I call yo check on my refund. A young man named Brain told me to get a 150 google play card to get my 137 from cheap ticket . Com. I did that, I got the card from publix, game him the number on the back if the card. He asked for 250 then I realized it was a scam. I told him he took from a homeless man, he said I would be refunded. I called the next day, and the number was changed. I kept the receipt and the card. I just want my 150. I need it for the hotel me and my family is in.please help me.

I got scammed out of 3,675 and they still trying to get more money out of me if I don't get this money I'm going to be homeless this morning was to help me and my mom and my mom doesn't have very much and it still demanding woman I know I should have thought about in the beginning but I was not thinking I have a learning disability I don't think straight I really hope there's some way I can get this money back and I really need a I was saving this morning
