Download Google Play to Microsoft Windows 10 HP Laptop

download Store to Microsoft PC with Windows 10 1 Reply 0 Upvotes

I have a new HP laptop with Microsoft Windows 10 system. I do not like the Microsoft Store and would like to install Google Play Store so I can download what I need. I tried to download
Bluestacks for some reason it will not download, I have the space to on the laptop so that not a problem.

What other, if any, programs can I download so as I can get my Google Play onto my Microsoft Windows system?

Chrome is a browser. If you look at the Chrome Download page, you'll see that there are different versions of Chrome. Each one is written in a different computer language. You'll see Macintosh, iPhone, Android, Windows... lots of different versions. Even though they are all the same program, you can't download and run the iPhone version on your computer because that's not the same language your computer speaks.

Your computer speaks the Windows language. The apps in Google Play are written in the Android language.

That's why you can't use the apps in the Play Store. Just like, even though music CDs and video DVDs are "similar", you can't put a video DVD in your car CD slot and play it. Those two pieces of hardware speak a different language.

I have the same issue, for my grandson's laptop. I would be very grateful to know how to get google play store on his HP, Microsoft edge I think. He's 11,and I don't want him to be left behind. It's funny, I thought I'd be able to help him.

Thank you for the clear responses. I would like to take the question one step further, If I download an Android emulator can use google play store? Can I use other Apps using that emulator?

Hey,

So I also have been researching just trying to understand how to download or get google play store. After much research it seems that Windows 10 well mine is in "S" mode, which can be changed however it can cause problems and then I could be without my laptop. From my weeks of research it seems we better just make microsoft store the best we can of it unless we are able to tweak a bit and take huge chances of ruining our computers. We are so used to google play store it is very hard to not have what we want and are comfortable with. But, I guess for now we must stick to our android phones and our microsoft computers. Just wish I would thought this part out while shopping for one. I went for every spec...how could I miss this part.!! Lol. But hey, dang good deal & seems to be a very great "careful" laptop.

I downloaded Blue Stacks on my laptop in order to access Google Play and download Google Home app. Need to reset my Google Hub to new named network. Mobile device not available. Can't make it work. What am I doing wrong???
