Problems accessing the Google Play Music Podcast Portal

If you’re having trouble accessing the Google Play Music Podcast Portal or an individual podcast, here are some common troubleshooting steps.

Accessing the Google Play Music Podcast Portal with a Google Apps account

If you're using Google Apps on a custom domain (a domain owned by your organization) and can’t access the Google Play Music Podcast Portal, your domain administrator may have disabled access to the Partner Dash service, a shared service that hosts Google Play Music Podcast Portal and other applications.

To allow access, your domain administrator will need to use the Google Admin console to enable the Partner Dash service. Your domain administrator can learn how to turn on Google Apps services by following the instructions on the Google Apps Administrator Help Center.

Accessing an individual podcast

When podcast owners add a podcast to the Google Play Music Podcast Portal, they can share access to a podcast with other content owners. By sharing a podcast, other content owners can view or edit the podcast on the Podcast Portal using a Google Account.

If you can’t access a podcast that someone else added to the Google Play Music Podcast Portal that you think you should have access to, check with the podcast owner who added the podcast to make sure they’ve shared the podcast with you using the correct Google Account. Also, when you’re visiting the Google Play Music Podcast Portal, make sure you’re signed in using the account with access to the podcast.
