Add news sources & topics to personalize Newsstand
To personalize the "For You" section of Newsstand, add news sources and topics that interest you. When you add a topic or news source, stories from that topic or source will be shown to you more frequently.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Newsstand app
.
- To find a news source, magazine, or topic to add:
- At the top, search for a source or topic.
- To browse topics or categories, at the bottom, tap Explore.
- Select the news source, magazine, or topic you want to add.
- Tap Add
.
- You'll see the source or topic added to your Library.
Rearrange or remove a news source or topic
To rearrange topics in your Library
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Newsstand app
.
- At the bottom, tap Library.
- On the item you want to move, tap More
Move to top. You can also tap and hold an item to drag it to your desired spot.
To remove a topic from your Library
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Newsstand app
.
- At the bottom, tap Library.
- On the item you want to remove, tap More
Remove topic from Library.
Remove a news publisher
You can prevent news from particular sources or publishers from showing up in your feed.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Newsstand app
.
- At the bottom, tap For you.
- Next to an article from a publisher you want to remove, select More
Hide stories from [publisher].
