Share your game activity
For select games on Google Play, you have the option to sign in and play using your Google+ account. Using your Google+ account, you can play games across platforms and participate in leaderboards, earn in-game achievements, save your in-game progress, and even play others through multiplayer modes on web, mobile, tablet, and Android TV games.
Sign in with Google+
If a game has a sign-in button for Google+, that means you can play the game using your Google+ account. If you use multiple accounts on an Android device, you can choose which Google+ account you'd like to use. Learn more about signing in with Google+.
Note: If you don't have a Google+ account, you can sign up before starting the game.
Review your sharing and game activity settings
When signing in with your Google+ account, you can choose to share your game activity publicly or with specific circles. Or you can keep it private.
Carefully review the information that a game requests. Any information that you share with a game developer can only be used for your experience of the game. It cannot be used for any other purpose, including advertising.
To review your sharing and game activity settings:
- Sharing: To learn more about the information a game is requesting, select the downward arrow next to any category on the download screen on your mobile device. On Android TV, select the relevant category on the "Request for permission" screen the first time you open a game.
- Game activity: To choose which of your circles a game can see and the circles who can view your game activity, select the pencil icon during the sign-in process on your mobile device. On Android TV, select Make your game activity available via Google on the "Request for permission" screen the first time you open a game.
- Note: By default, your game activity and real name are shared publicly unless you choose to change your settings during sign-in. If you share your game activity publicly or with your chosen circles, your gaming activity will only appear on game-related pages. It won't appear in your profile stream on Google+, unless you choose to share it there.
