Find payment methods you can use

Available payment methods vary by country. If your country is not listed, scroll down.

On March 25, 2025, US Cellular won't be accepted as a payment method for Google Play purchases. This means:

  • For new purchases and subscriptions:
    • You can’t add US Cellular as a new payment method on Google Play.
    • You can’t sign up for new subscriptions on Google Play with US Cellular as your primary payment method.
  • For existing US Cellular payment methods:
    • If you’ve already added US Cellular as a payment method, you can still use it for non-subscription purchases on Google Play.
    • Subscriptions that were started before March 25, 2025, with US Cellular as the primary payment method, will continue to be processed until March 31, 2026.
    • To reduce any impact on your subscription, we suggest that you update your payment method before March 31, 2026.

You can add the following credit/debit cards to your account:

  • American Express
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • Mastercard
  • Visa

Note: The types of cards accepted through Google Play may vary. If your card doesn't work when you think it should, contact your bank or card issuer for help. You may notice temporary authorizations on your account when using a credit or debit card.
