What is Google Play doing with respect to users in sanctioned regions, including Crimea, so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LNR)?
We are committed to complying with all applicable sanctions and trade compliance laws and we continue to monitor the latest guidance. Users in affected regions will still be able to use Google Play, including downloading ₽0 RUB apps, but unable to make purchases.
Will I be able to access previously downloaded apps and content if I live in a region that has been sanctioned?
You should still be able to access previously purchased apps and content such as books, movies, and shows through Google Play. In some instances, you may experience limitations accessing previously purchased apps and content due to service provider interruptions.
My bank has been sanctioned, what will happen to my subscription?
If you are not in a sanctioned region, your subscription should remain active through the end of your billing cycle and should renew as long as you have a currently accepted primary or backup payment method on the subscription.

I live in a region that has been sanctioned, will I still be able to access my subscriptions?
At the end of your current billing cycle, your subscription will be canceled. You can view the status of your subscriptions in the subscriptions center.
Can I receive a refund for a recent purchase if I live in a region that has been sanctioned or my bank has been sanctioned?
Google does not give refunds for most Google Play purchases. However there are exceptions. You can learn more here. Users in affected regions may experience limitations.
