If you have a Charging Speaker Dock and attach your Pixel Tablet to it during setup, you might get a notification that something went wrong. Here are a few things that you can try to help resolve this issue.
Important: To dock your Pixel Tablet or use Hub Mode, you need a Charging Speaker Dock. You can purchase the Pixel Tablet with or without a dock, or purchase a dock separately.Detach and reattach your tablet from the dock.
- Detach your tablet from the charging dock.
- Reattach your tablet to the charging dock.
Plug your dock into a different power socket.
- Check that the power cable is securely plugged into your dock.
- Verify that another power socket in your home works plug the dock into it.
Plug your tablet into a power socket with a cable.
- Remove your tablet from the charging dock.
- Plug your tablet into a wall socket with a USB-C cable and power adaptor.
- Verify that your tablet is charging.
- Unplug your tablet from the wall socket.
- Reattach your tablet to the charging dock.
If your tablet charges with a cable but not when it's attached to the dock, there might be a problem with your dock.
Restart your tablet.
If the above solutions don't work, try restarting your tablet.
