When you subscribe to Nest Aware, you get access to features like:
- More video history
- Intelligent alerts
- 24/7 access to Nest Aware experts on the Nest Customer Care team
What are the requirements for the Nest Aware?
- You’ll need a Google Account to use Nest Aware. If you have a Nest Account, you’ll need to migrate to a Google Account.
- Your home needs to be in a country that supports Nest Aware.
- Nest Aware requires a working internet connection for your home, and access to the Nest app and the Home app.

What's the difference between Nest Aware and 1st gen Nest Aware?

Can I keep my current 1st gen Nest Aware subscription?
Yes. As long as you don't migrate to a Google Account, your 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions will continue. You can also purchase 1st gen subscriptions for new cameras. After you migrate to a Google Account, you can't add or renew 1st gen subscriptions.
Can I buy a subscription for someone else?
Gift subscriptions are not available for Nest Aware.
Can I get a 30-day trial for Nest Aware?
You can get a 30-day Nest Aware trial if you’re a new customer or if you switch from 1st gen Nest Aware.
