30% of clicks from Iran.Costing me money and Google no help.
Hi all,
I have had time to look at my account and in the darkness of Google billing found that 30-40% of my clicks are going to Iran, Iraq, India, Tuekey etc. Firstly google said this was not so, then once I argued they surprisingly found it and said that IRAN is an OFAC sanctioned country so for some reason In have to pay for clicks. The rest were not EXCLUDED from my account. Apparently, 0.5 miles arounf my target area is not ok, i have to MANUALLY exclude ALL remaining 194 countries. Is this true, I dont care about Iran clicking even though we are talking 700k impressions but i have to pay for the 20k clicks? Is this for real?
And I have to manually remove all countries not targeted.

In Campaign > Settings > Location > Advanced Settings, change the setting for where your ads show from the first, default option, to the middle option.

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply.
My concern was more that i received 28k clicks from the UK were our school is and 19k clicks from Iran. I wanted to include other countries as we do have students from all over the world. But 19k clicks a year from Iran seems excessive. thanks

HI there, thanks for the answer.
I have already done that but was more surprised how MANY clicks i received. 40%. how is this possible. Google says its NOT bots but real customers? seriously?
