Edit an App campaign for engagement

Once you have an App campaign for engagement up and running, you might want to fine-tune it. This article covers how to make changes to your campaign.

Before you begin

If you haven’t already, create an App campaign for engagement.

Note: The instructions below are part of the new design for the Google Ads user experience. To use the previous design, click the "Appearance" icon, and select Use previous design. If you're using the previous version of Google Ads, review the Quick reference map or use the Search bar in the top navigation panel of Google Ads to find the page you’re searching for.

Instructions

  1. In your Google Ads account, click the Campaigns icon Campaigns Icon.
  2. Click the Campaigns drop down in the section menu.
  3. Click Campaigns.
  4. Find the App campaign for engagement you want to edit.
    • To edit your campaign’s ad groups, audiences, settings, or locations:
      1. Click the name of the campaign you want to edit.
      2. Navigate to the Ad groups, Audiences, Settings, or Locations page.
        • The "Audiences" and "Locations" page can be found under the "Audiences, keywords, and content" dropdown menu.
      3. Make your desired changes.
    • To copy, paste, enable, pause, remove a campaign, create an automated rule, or to change a campaign’s budget, bid strategy, or targeting:
      1. Check the box to the left of the campaign you want to edit.
      2. Click the “Edit” drop-down, then select Copy, Paste, Enable, Pause, Remove, Change budgets, Change bid strategy, Create an automated rule, or Edit targeting.
      3. Make your desired changes.
  5. Click Save.
