With brand guidelines, you can manage how your brand is represented in your Performance Max campaign automated assets or formats. To make it easier to control your brand appearance, you can upgrade your existing campaigns to use brand guidelines and support a single business name and up to 5 logos per campaign.
This article explains how to manually enable brand guidelines, including a business name and business logos, from the asset group level to campaign level.
Before you begin
You’ll have until March 2025 to move your brand guidelines to the campaign level. Note that some data may be lost in the process. If you have different business names and logos across asset groups, Google AI will prioritize the best-performing assets for Performance Max campaigns.
Until April 2025, existing campaigns can continue to use the current business name and logo assets for each asset group until you manually migrate.
What to expect
For some advertisers, failure to manually migrate existing campaigns may result in losing control over which business name and logo serve with your campaigns. After March 2025, Google will automatically use business name and logos from your top performing asset group per campaign.
