The Google TV network allows you to extend YouTube video campaigns to in-feed and Masthead video inventory on the TV screen.

How in-feed appears on Google TV
Google TV’s infeed ad unit appears on the Google TV homescreen, and is available as part of Video Reach Campaigns.
When the infeed ad is in view, the video will automatically play inline (with the sound off) and switch to sound one when the user focuses on the infeed unit.
Google TV Infeed creative assets require:
- 1920 x 1080px (horizontal)
- 16:9 aspect ratio

Buy in-feed ads on the Google TV network
The Google TV network provides the same flexibility as YouTube to add audience segment targeting to your campaign's ad groups, based on your target audience's interests, habits, and preferences. Google TV network also supports location targeting.
In-feed ads are eligible to serve on Google TV inventory when Video Reach Campaigns “Efficient reach” campaign is both opted in to In-feed ad format and the Google TV network.
Instructions
Create a video reach campaign
To run in-feed ads on Google TV network using your existing video reach campaigns, follow the steps below:
- Go to Campaigns within the Campaigns
menu.
- Select the plus button
, then select + New campaign.
- Choose Awareness and consideration as the objective.
- Choose “Reach” as a goal under “Choose an awareness and consideration goal” section.
- Select Video as your campaign type.
- Select “Efficient reach” as the campaign subtype under “Select a campaign subtype” section.
- Select Continue.
- Check the box next to “In-feed ads” within the Ad Formats dropdown.
- Check the box next to “Google TV” within the Networks dropdown.
- Continue setup of your campaign, ad group, audience and video ad.
- Select Create campaign.
Duplicate a video reach campaign
You can also duplicate your campaign, and then enable Google TV by following these steps:
- Go to Campaigns within the Campaigns
menu.
- At the top of the “Campaigns” page, select Video campaigns from the “Campaigns” dropdown.
- Check the box next to the campaign you’d like to duplicate.
- From the “Edit” drop-down menu, select Copy.
- Open the “Edit” drop-down menu again, and select Paste.
- Check the box next to “Pause new campaigns after pasting” to restrict your copied campaigns from running immediately.
- Select Paste.
- After you’ve duplicated the campaign, select the Settings tab.
- Select the name of the campaign you’d like to update the network settings for.
- Expand the “Networks” section.
- Select the checkbox next to Google TV.
- Select Save.
