Check your voicemail in the Google Fi app

When someone leaves you a voicemail, you'll get a notification from the Google Fi app. To listen to your voicemail:

  1. Open the Google Fi app.
  2. Tap Voicemail in the row of options at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap a specific voicemail message to expand it.
  4. You can read the transcript, or tap the play button to listen.

Alternate ways to check voicemail

Through text 

To turn voicemail texts on or off, go to Settings > Voicemail in your Fi account. If voicemail texts are turned on, you'll get a text message with a transcript when someone leaves you a voicemail. To listen to your voicemail:

  1. Open the text message with your voicemail transcript.
  2. Tap the phone number at the end of the message.
  3. When prompted, enter your voicemail PIN.

Through the Phone app

If Phone alerts are turned on, you'll get a notification from your Phone app when someone leaves you a voicemail. To listen to your voicemail:

  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap Voicemail.
  3. Tap Call Voicemail. 
  4. When prompted, enter your voicemail PIN.
  5. Once you listen to your voicemail, you can end the call. To delete a message, press 6.
