Classroom Teacher group was deleted for Google Classroom

The Classroom Teacher group was deleted from our group list before anyone knew what it was.  Is there any way for that to be recreated so it is still linked to Google Classroom?

Hi There,

If the admin deleted the group in Google Groups (not the admin console), then they should be able to restore the group. If they ignored the big "warning" text in the admin console and deleted the group, we don't have a way to fix this at the moment.

Best,

I think it was done in the admin console.
Do you know if there is a timeline to restore groups deleted in that fashion?

Nothing I can release publicly.  I'll ping them to say it's already happened.

In the future, we recommend consulting Google Apps support when warnings come up like this before proceeding.

Best,

Is it possible for me to recreate the group?  Only thing would be the settings that need to be in place for it to connect to Classroom correctly.

I deleted this group without realizing what it was also.  I was cleaning up groups for the beginning of the new school year, there were no users in the group and I assumed it had been created at some point and never used.  So I deleted.  Now I have teachers who want to use Google Classroom and can't.  I created a group called classroom_teachers but that did not solve my issue.
