No private comments can be typed.

Question

This is my 3rd time filling out a help ticket. I CANNOT ENTER ANY PRIVATE COMMENTS because there is a pop up window: Checking assignment type. It will not allow me to type in private comment area. It has not gone off since August 18th of this year.

A few things to try:
Restart your device
Try clearing the browser cache. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en
Log out of the Google Account
Close the browser, then reopen.
Log in to the Google Account.
Clear browser cookies
Make sure that all operating system, browser and app updates have been done
Turn off ALL browser extensions
Also, talk to your school's Google admin. they should be your first stop when encountering any problems with google services.
