This article is for teachers.
When you create an assignment, you can post it immediately, save a draft, or schedule it to post at a later date. After students complete and turn in their work, you can grade and return it to the students.
Tips: You can use the Classroom app in Gemini to propose ideas, draft instructions, or even create an entire assignment draft. You can use prompts like these:
- “Which assignments and questions topics have the lowest scores? Summarize the related topics that need re-teaching.”"Which students haven’t submitted the 'World War II presentation' yet?"
- “Create a summary of [Student Name]'s] overall progress in [Class Name] this quarter”"List students who turned in assignments late yesterday across all my classes."
- “Create three differentiated activities for my Grade 8 Math class based on their assignment submissions.”"Show who turned in assignments late yesterday across all my classes."
