This article is for teachers.

Designated users, who may include education leaders and support staff, may need to temporarily visit a class to support teachers and students. For example, they may need to assign a substitute teacher or review a student’s classwork page to support a guardian conversation. Workspace admins control who can visit a class in the Admin Console. People who can visit a class include, but are not limited to:

  • Principals
  • Department heads
  • School counselors
  • Curriculum leaders
  • Administrative assistants
  • Coaches and mentors
  • IT admins

You don’t receive notifications when someone visits your class. Check if you're the primary teacher. If needed, the primary teacher can transfer ownership of the class to you
You want someone to visit your class, but they aren’t able to.  Ask them to troubleshoot their access issue and contact their Workspace admin.
