Use Street View in Google Earth

You can use Street View to explore places more closely. Zoom in to check out buildings, landmarks, bridges, and more.

Tip: Street View images aren’t available everywhere. Discover where Street View is available.

Open Street View

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Earth app Google Earth.
  2. Tap on a place or search for a location.
  3. At the bottom, the info card shows information about the place.
    • To hide the info card, in the search bar, tap Clear Clear.
  4. At the bottom, tap Pegman Pegman.
  5. Tap on a highlighted area.

Tip: If areas are highlighted in blue, you can find images of those places in Street View.

Change your view

  • To change your view: Drag the screen.
  • To return to a north-facing view: At the bottom right, tap the compass .
  • If you move to a new area, white arrows appear on screen. Tap an arrow to move in that direction.

Zoom in or out

  • Zoom with 2 fingers: Use 2 fingers to pinch the screen.
  • Zoom with one finger: Double tap the screen and hold, then slide your finger up or down.

Report a problem

To report an image quality issue or request blurring for Street View imagery:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Earth app Google Earth.
  2. Tap on a place or search for a location.
  3. At the bottom, the info card shows information about the place.
    • To hide the info card, in the search bar, tap Clear Clear.
  4. At the bottom, tap Pegman Pegman.
  5. In Street View, tap More More and then Report a problem
  6. Fill out the form and tap Submit.

Exit Street View

To exit Street View, at the top left, tap Back Back.
