Google Keep w/o Title

There is nowhere else to post this so I hope no one minds my question about Google Keep.  Am I correct when I say there is no way to add a title for a note using the extension or the app. Do I really have to enter everything on my android phone to create notes w/ titles?

Thanks

Kev

Hi Kevin

You can create titles for notes on the desktop (https://keep.google.com), the Chrome extension or the Chrome app.

By default, the cursor will appear in the body of the note when you create the note, but you can always move it to the Title field to enter the title.

I hope this helps.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Docs Help Forum.

@ Priya Chandra: Thanks for pitching in this thread.

@ Kevin: Just to confirm, are you looking for a way to add a title to notes in Google Keep? If yes, I'd suggest following these steps:
  1. Go to Google Keep.
  2. Click Take a note.
  3. Add a note and a title.
  4. Click Done.
Further, you can also add a title for a note using Google Keep extension. To do so, please follow these steps:
  1. Open a new tab in Chrome.
  2. In the top left corner, click Apps .
  3. Click Google Keep .
  4. Click on "Take a note" text box.
  5. Click on "Title", to add a title.
Also, you may be interested in referring to these useful Help Center articles on how to create or edit a note and use Google Keep on a Chrome browser.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Selena

Thanks for the feedback folks. You would think that would work, but I am unable to get my cursor into the Title field. Any ideas? If nothing else works, I will have to add the note on my PC and then later go back on my phone and add in the Title.

Hi Kevin

Are you able to add a Title if you open an incognito window in Chrome and try adding a note from there?

Also, try clearing your cache and cookies - there may be something there that is prohibiting you from accessing the title field.

Thank you, everyone for taking the time to help me. I truly appreciate it.  All is well now and all it took was a PC restart to access the title field.

Thanks again.
