Generate mobile tag code in AdX for direct implementation with the SDK

This article is for directly connecting with the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Click here if you want to call Ad Exchange from DFP.
Mobile In-App: Setting up Ad Exchange mobile interstitial tags (2:45)

You can generate code that helps you connect to the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve ads into mobile apps. Here’s how:

  1. In Ad Exchange, click the Inventory tab. The “Tags” page loads.

To access this feature from DFP instead of Ad Exchange, click Inventory and then Ad Exchange inventory and then Tags.

  2. In the sidebar, click Mobile In-App.

  3. Click + New tag. The “New tag” prompt window opens.

  4. Enter a meaningful name that clearly identifies the mobile tag.

  5. Click Save.

A tag ID (e.g., 4938177565) is automatically assigned to the mobile tag.

  6. From the "Tags list" page, locate the tag and click the Get SDK code link next to it.

    A popup window opens.

  7. Copy and paste the tag code as the “adUnitId” in the SDK.

For more information on SDK integration, see the Android and iOS Ad Exchange SDK guides.
