There are a few reasons why you may be seeing “No compatible Google Cast devices were found on your network” when trying to cast your Android screen.
To troubleshoot this issue:
- Make sure that your Chromecast is set up properly following the directions here.
- Make sure that your Android device and Chromecast are both connected to the same wireless network name (SSID)
- Make sure that you have the most recent version of the Google Home app from the Google Play Store
- If these steps do not fix your issue, try power cycling your wireless router, your Android device and the Chromecast device
