YouTube Issue get screen says out of date no update avail. go to YouTube.com but get same screen

I keep getting this screen even after going to YouTube.com in my browser.

Try first uninstalling the YouTube Play Store app then revisiting YouTube.com.

Hi ljd,

Let's start by getting more info about your device.  Open your ChromeOS settings, then About ChromeOS>Additional Settings, then click the Copy icon (which looks like 2 pieces of paper on top of each other) next to Build Details.  Then post that info in a response here.

If the forum software incorrectly blocks you from doing so, then take a screenshot of the info instead and share that image.  (The info is not sensitive, despite what the forum software might say.)
