Read pages later & offline

You can save web pages to read later or when you're offline. To read pages later offline, download them in Chrome ahead of time.

Save a page to your reading list

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Go to a page that you want to read later.
3. To the right of the address bar, tap More Star .

Tip: If you save a page to your reading list, every new page is saved to the last folder where you saved. To edit where you save, at the bottom of the page, tap Edit.

Edit a saved page

When you save to the reading list, you can change where you save the page. 

1. Go to a page that you saved.
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More Star .
3. To choose a different location, select Folder Reading list.

Tip: To go to your reading list, tap More Bookmarks Reading list.

Download a page from Chrome to read later

Important: You need to be online to save a page.

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Go to a page you want to save.
3. To the right of the address bar, tap More   Download .

Read, delete, or share a saved page

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Downloads.
   • If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Downloads .
3. From your downloads list, find the page you saved.
   • Read: Tap the page.
   • Delete: Touch and hold the page. At the top right, tap Delete .
   • Share: Touch and hold the page. At the top right, tap Share .

Tip: To find the live version of the page when you're back online, tap Reload .
