Create a shortcut for Chrome

After you install Chrome, you can get to the app faster when you add it to your Home screen or your favorite apps.

Add Chrome app to your Home screen

1. From the bottom of your Home screen, swipe up.
2. Touch and hold the Chrome app .
3. Drag the app where you want it and release it.

Tips:

• To open a new tab, an Incognito tab, or add widgets to your Home screen, press and hold the Chrome app .

Add Chrome to your favorite apps

At the bottom of your Home screen, you can find a row of favorite apps.

1. On your Android device, go to your Home screen.
2. From the bottom of the screen, swipe up.
3. In the list, find “Chrome.”
   • Or, in the search bar, enter Chrome.
4. Touch and hold, then drag the Chrome app to your favorite dock.

Tip: If the dock is full, you may need to drag an existing app out of the dock.
