We've gotten reports about some users being signed out of their accounts unexpectedly. We're investigating, but not to worry: there is no indication that this is connected to any phishing or account security threats. Please try to sign-in again at and if you cannot remember your password, please use this link to recover your password. If you use 2-Step Verification, there may have been a delay in receiving your SMS code. Please try again or use backup codes.

Share Chrome with others or add a profile

You can have multiple people use Chrome on the same device, each with their own settings, bookmarks and themes.

If you have bookmarks, extensions and settings for different accounts, such as work and personal, you can use Chrome profiles to keep them separate.

What others can see when you share Chrome

Anyone using Chrome can switch to any other Chrome profile added to that device. For example, if someone switches to your Chrome profile, they'll be able to see websites you visited. That’s why we recommend only sharing your device with people you trust.

You can only have one Chrome profile on Android devices.

To let someone else use Chrome on your Android device, add a new user to the device, and then, using Chrome, switch to that user. Find out how to add a user to Android.
