Translate a page to your language

You can read web pages in your own language with Chrome, even if the page was written in another language.

Translate web pages in Chrome

Whenever you come across a page written in a language that isn't one of your preferred web page languages, do the following:

  1. Use Chrome to open the web page.
  2. Translate the page:
    • Computer: Click Translate at the top of the page.
    • Mobile device: Click Translate at the bottom of the page.
  3. Chrome will translate the web page this one time.

Not working? You can try refreshing the web page. If you can't click Translate, the language might not be available for translation. Find out more and set which languages to have translated in Chrome.
