Shopping insights & price tracking in Chrome

You can use price tracking on your phone, tablet, or computer to check for price drops on products that you want to buy.

To use the price tracking and insights features and receive notifications, you must:

• Live in the US
• Sign in to Chrome with your Google Account
• Sync your history
• Turn on "Make searches and browsing better"

Get price & shopping insights

You can use Shopping Insights in Chrome to find the price history and price range for products on the web. This includes products with alternatives, like different colors or storage capacity.

Find the price history for a product

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Go to the page of the product.
3. In the address bar, on the right, tap Price is low .
   • Optional: To track the product, tap Track.

Tips:

• You can track products even if notifications are off.
• To stop tracking the product, tap Tracking.

Track price on a product page

Important: To use this feature the first time, when the pop-up appears, tap Show me.

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Go to the product page.
3. At the top right, tap More Track prices .

Tip: When you use TalkBack, you can use 2 fingers in the graph area to move left and right through data points. Then, lift your fingers so that TalkBack reads out the data points. Learn more on how to use TalkBack gestures.

Find your tracked products

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Bookmarks Tracked products.

Manage price tracking notifications

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Settings Google services.
3. Tap Get price tracking notifications.
   • To change mobile price notifications: Under “Mobile,” tap Settings. Turn your mobile Price drop alerts on or off.
   • To change email notifications for price changes: Under “Email,” turn Send to on or off.

Check for price drops on open tabs

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. Tap Switch tabs .
3. On the tab for the product you like, check for a badge. If Chrome detects a price drop, it shows a badge at the top left of the tab.

Manage price tracking on tabs

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Settings Google services.
3. Turn Track prices on tabs on or off.
