Manage creatives

Get creatives from Ads Creative Studio

If you're working with a creative team that uses Ads Creative Studio to build creatives, you can set up an advertiser association so they can send creatives to your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser.

Benefits

Linking accounts saves you time when delivering creative assets. You no longer have to email them or upload and download them from a shared file server.

Permissions

  • Linked Ads Creative Studio accounts can send creatives to your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser at any time.
  • Linked Ads Creative Studio accounts cannot overwrite creatives or access your Campaign Manager 360 account.
  • Changes you make to received creatives in Campaign Manager 360 do not affect the creatives in Ads Creative Studio. Your creatives in Campaign Manager 360 are separate copies.

Supported creative formats

Currently Ads Creative Studio users can only export non-dynamic rich media creatives.

How it works

  1. Ask an Ads Creative Studio account admin to request an account link using your advertiser ID.
  2. You'll receive a request to link your advertiser, also called an association. You can approve the request in the Properties tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser.
  3. After the request is approved, the Ads Creative Studio account can send creatives. These creatives will appear on the Creatives tab of your advertiser in Campaign Manager 360.
  4. Find the creatives in your advertiser and add them to your campaign.
  5. Set up the rich media creatives you received.

About creative updates

If an Ads Creative Studio user makes changes to a creative after they've sent it to your account, the updated creative will be added to your advertiser as a new creative. Updated creatives will have the same name, but will have a different creative ID, and a different "Created" date and time.

Before you get started

Send your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser ID to an Ads Creative Studio admin user and ask them to request an account link.

This first step always happens in Ads Creative Studio. The Ads Creative Studio user enters your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser ID and requests an account link. Ads Creative Studio users can learn more about account linking in the Ads Creative Studio Help Center.

Approve an Ads Creative Studio association request

  1. After the Ads Creative Studio user requests an account link, you'll receive an email with a link to review the request. Click the link to open the Properties tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser.

If you don't click the link from the email, you can review association requests at any time. Select the Properties tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. Under Associations, find Ads Creative Studio.

  2. Select the request from Ads Creative Studio you want to approve.

  3. Click Approve.

  4. Click Save on the Properties tab.

After the association is saved, Ads Creative Studio users can send you new creatives from the linked account. These creatives are automatically added to your advertiser’s Creatives tab in Campaign Manager 360.

Reject an Ads Creative Studio association request

If you get a request to link an Ads Creative Studio account that you don't want to approve, you can reject it.

  2. Select the request from Ads Creative Studio you want to reject.

  3. Click Reject.

  4. Click Save on the Properties tab.

Unlink an Ads Creative Studio account

If you no longer want an Ads Creative Studio account to export creatives to your advertiser, you can unlink the account.

  1. Select the Properties tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. Under Associations, find Ads Creative Studio.
  2. Select the association from Ads Creative Studio you want to unlink.
  3. Click Unlink.
  4. Click Save on the Properties tab.

The account will no longer be able to export creatives to your advertiser.

Find creatives from Ads Creative Studio

You can tell that a creative came from Ads Creative Studio if it has "ACS" as the authoring source.

In the Creatives tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser

  1. Select the Creatives tab of your Campaign Manager 360 advertiser. You're taken to the list of creatives in your advertiser.
  2. Find the Authoring source column. You'll find "ACS" in the column if the creative was exported from Ads Creative Studio.

In a creative

  1. Open the creative.
  2. Click Creative status.
  3. Find the Authoring source in the "Identification" section. You'll find "ACS" if the creative was exported from Ads Creative Studio.
