Add or remove video calls

When you add a video call to an event, your invitees can join a Google Hangout video call. Each video call that's created has a unique URL that's specific to that event.

Turn automatic video calls on or off

If you got your Google Account through your work, school, or group, you may not see the "Automatically add video calls to events I create" setting. Your domain admin can turn this setting on or off.

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top right corner, click Settings Settings and then Settings.
  3. Next to "Automatically add video calls to events I create," select Yes or No
  4. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

Add or remove a video call from one event

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. In the bottom right corner, click Add Add
  3. To add a video call, click Add conferencing and then select the app you want to use.
  4. Click Save.
Pick a color for your event

When you're creating an event, you can choose the color that event will show as in your calendars. Colors are private, so nobody will see what color you used, even if you shared your calendar with them.

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. In the bottom right corner, click Add Add
  3. Enter in your event details.
  4. In the "Event color" section, choose a color.
  5. At the top of the page, click Save.

Edit an event you've created
