Managing invites

Your organization can be invited to manage specific locations or location groups owned by someone else.

  • For a single location: The location owner can invite a location group in your organization using the location group ID. Or, you can request access for your organization to manage the location—specifying a location group for the location to be added to.
  • For a location group: The location group owner can invite your organization using your organization ID.

View and accept invitations

To view and accept an invitation to manage someone else's locations:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click Manage invites. (If you're part of multiple organizations, make sure to choose the right organization first.)
  3. Find the invitation, then click Approve or Decline.

Request access to a location

To request access for your organization to manage locations owned by someone else:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click Manage invites. (If you're part of multiple organizations, make sure to choose the right organization first.)
  3. Click the Request access button.
  4. Search by business name and choose the appropriate location.
  5. Choose which of your location groups the location should be added to.
  6. Click Continue, then follow the prompts to request access.

View access requests

To see requests your organization has sent to manage someone else's locations:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click Manage invites. (If you're part of multiple organizations, make sure to choose the right organization first.)
  3. Click the Requests sent tab to see the status of each request.
