Flag photos for removal

If you notice that a photo uploaded by a customer violates the Google Maps photo policies, you can request for it to be removed.

Note: If you've come across content on Google that may violate the law, let us know here. We'll carefully review the material and consider blocking, removing or restricting access to it.

Flag photos in your account

Desktop

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. If you have multiple locations, open the location you'd like to manage.
  3. Click Photos from the menu.
  4. Find the photo you'd like to flag, then click the flag icon  in the top right corner.

Mobile

  1. Open the Google My Business app.
  2. Tap More, then tap Photos.
  3. Find the photo you'd like to flag
  4. Tap the three dot menu icon , then tap Report photo.

Flag photos in Google Maps

Desktop

  1. Open Google Maps
  2. Find your business listing.
  3. Find the photo you'd like to flag.
  4. Click the three dot menu icon  in the top left corner, then click Report a problem. (Or, if you see a flag icon  in the top right corner, click that icon to report the image.)

Mobile

To flag a photo for removal from Maps using the Google Maps app:

  1. Open the Google Maps app. 
  2. Find your business listing.
  3. Find the photo you'd like to flag.
  4. Tap the photo, then tap the flag icon  in the bottom right corner.
