Add and remove business account owners and managers

Business accounts allow you to share management of a set of bulk locations with multiple users. Once you’ve created the business account, you can transfer locations from other accounts to the business account.

These locations will be shared with any other users you add as owners or managers of the business account. To add owners or managers:

Add owners or managers

To add owners or managers to a business account:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click the three dot menu  on the business account you’d like to manage and choose Manage users.
    • You won’t see the menu on your personal account. To transfer ownership of all locations in your personal account, you should first transfer them to a business account.
  3. Add the email address of the user to whom you’d like to send an invitation. You can invite them to be an owner or manager of the business account.
    • Only an owner of the business account can add more owners and managers.
    • It’s not possible to add a business account as a manager.

Once the invitation is accepted, the user will be able to add, edit, and delete all of the locations in the business account. They will also be able to add and remove users for individual locations. A primary owner will be able to delete the business account, but an owner won't. Learn more about the capabilities of business account users
