If you no longer want to manage your Business Profile, you can remove its content and managers. After you remove the Business Profile from your Google Account, you can no longer manage the profile on Search and Maps.

Understand ownership permissions required to remove your Business Profile- Only the primary owners and owners can remove the profile content and managers. Learn more about different levels of profile ownership permissions.
- New owners and managers must wait 7 days before they can remove profile content or managers. Learn more about new owner & manager limitations.
- Even after removal, the business might still appear on Search and Maps, unless it's considered an ineligible business. Learn more about business eligibility and guidelines.
- Removal of content and managers for a Business Profile is permanent and affects all owners and managers.
- Any posts, photos, videos, and review replies made by owners or managers will be permanently removed.
- User-generated content and reviews will remain.
- Once content is removed, it can’t be recovered or managed. To manage the business on Google again, you must re-verify the Business Profile.
Remove a Business Profile from your Google Account
Important: When you remove all ownership and content from your Business Profile, it doesn’t guarantee that the business no longer appears on Maps and Search.
- Go to your Business Profile.
- You must be signed in to the Google Account associated with your Business Profile.
- Click More
Business Profile settings.
- Click Remove Business Profile
Remove profile content and managers.
- If you want to show that your business is closed, turn on Mark your business as permanently closed.
- If you mark your business as closed, it won't be removed from Maps right away. It will gradually disappear from search results and eventually be removed entirely.
- If you want to show that your business is closed, turn on Mark your business as permanently closed.
- Click Continue

Remove multiple Business Profiles from your Google Account
- Go to the Business Profile Manager.
- You must sign in to the Google Account associated with your Business Profiles.
- In the Business Profile Manager, select the profiles you want to remove.
- If you want to show that these businesses are closed, first mark the businesses as permanently closed.
- On the right, click Actions

If you encounter an error when you remove multiple profiles, you must remove content and managers for each profile.
Transfer Business Profile ownership
You can remove your account from a Business Profile without removing other owners and managers. This process won't affect the current content in your profile.
