Manage social media links

Share more about your business with social media links. You can now manage which social media links are displayed to customers on your Google Business Profile.

Important: Social media links are currently available for select regions and may not be available for your Business Profile currently.

You can add one of each of the following social media links to your Business Profile:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok
  • X (formerly known as Twitter)
  • YouTube

Social media links in Google Business Profile should respect the below formats.

Add social media links

How to add social media links to your Business Profile

You can add one link per social media site. For example, you can add one Facebook and one YouTube link to your Business Profile. To add a social media link:

  1. Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.
  2. Click Edit profile and thenBusiness information and then Contact.
  3. To edit, click Social profiles and then Down arrow Down arrow.
  4. In the drop down that opens, select the social media link you would like to add.
  5. In the web address field, add the link.
  6. Click Save.

Edit social media links

  1. Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.
  2. Click Edit profile and then Business information and then Contact.
  3. To edit, click Social profiles.
  4. Update the web address field for the social media link you'd like to update.
    • Tip: To find the correct format for social media links, refer to the table above.
  5. Click Save.

Remove social media links

  1. Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.
  2. Click Edit profile and then Business information and then Contact.
  3. In “Social profiles” next to the profile you want to remove, click Trash Trash.
  4. Click Save.

Can I add the same social media link to multiple Business Profiles?
Yes. Different Business Profiles can use the same social media link.
In my Business Profile, can I add multiple social media links from the same platform?
You can add one link per social media site.
Is it possible to update social media links in bulk?
You can update social media links for one business at a time on Search or Maps or use the API to manage multiple locations at once.
Can I find the performance of user interaction with each social media link, like clicks?
Performance metrics for social media links aren’t available at this time.
Can I manage social media links through API?
You can manage your social media links and more via the API. Learn more about API updates.
Why is my edit rejected?
In some instances, links that are moderated, duplicated, invalid, or unsupported aren’t saved.
Why does my social media post show on my Business Profile?
Business Profiles with an associated social media link may find their social media posts surfaced on their Business Profile automatically.
