Start or manage a subscription on your Android TV

You can subscribe to some streaming services on your Android TV.

Start a subscription

1. On your Android TV, open Play Store .
2. Find the app for the subscription service you want.
3. Download the app. Depending on the app, you can choose:
   • Install: Then open the app to create an account and start your subscription.
   • Subscribe & install: Follow the instructions to complete your subscription purchase. An account is created for the service automatically using the Gmail address on your TV. You might get an email from the service to set up a password or profile.

Sign in to an existing subscription 

If you already subscribe to a service and want to access that content on your TV:

1. On your Android TV, open Play Store .
2. Find the app for the subscription service you want.
3. Choose Install.
4. Open the app and sign into your account.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Important: Uninstalling an app on your Android TV will not cancel your subscription.

To change or cancel a subscription, you need a phone or computer.

1. On a phone or computer, go to g.co/play/subscriptions.
2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Select Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the instructions.

Redeem a promotion

You may be eligible for promotions that you can redeem on your Android TV.

1. On the home screen, select Apps.
2. Scroll to the banner for the promotion you want to redeem.
3. Select the banner.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
