No audio on phone calls
I have removed device from the car (vauxhall insignia) and on the phone and reconnected but the problem persists. If I dont use Android Auto and just use the car's inbuilt phone app I have no issues.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the feedback.
For Ford car owners with this issue, the Ford team is aware of the issue and they are currently investigating. In the meantime, please use the workaround below to resolve the issue.
- Connect your phone to Bluetooth
- On the Sync screen
- Select the Settings tab
- Select Phone
- Select Set Phone Ringtone
- Select Use Phone Ringtone
- Connect to Android Auto
Note: The Phone settings menu cannot be accessed while connected to Android Auto, the phone needs to be connected to Bluetooth in order to perform these changes. Thanks!
For non-Ford cars, if you still experience this issue, please open a new thread and provide more information following this.

Remove all devices from Bluetooth in sync
Remove all devices from AA in sync
Remove the car from Bluetooth on the phone
Connect the cable and connect the phone again, going through the AA setup, this time when I received the prompt to allow sync to read messages I have ignored this.
So far it's been working now for approx 3 weeks with no issue oh of the caller not being heard.
I'll re-post an update of that changes.

When trying to place a call using Google Assistant, I can say "Hey Google" call ..... and Google assistant will repeat the name of the person I'm trying to call and then place the call. I don't hear the phone ring or the party I'm calling answer. In all cases when I later ask the person I tried calling if they heard me, they say yes, although I can't hear them. This has been going on since the end of last year. I've done several updates (to the most current version) and several re-installs to no avail. There are no error messages and Google Assistant understands my request by repeating the person's name. Microphone and speakers work as well as all incoming calls.
I can manually use the phone app if I go into "recent" and initiate the call there by touching the screen name of the person I just attempted to call with Google assistant. That's the only way I can make outgoing calls.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
