Another Bullshit decision by Google. They stop long standing Google adopters from using a bunch of services. Then make it really difficult to move away from them.

There are many people that signed up to GSuite as they promoted it to get customers that aren't business and are just families with personal domains.

They really dont care about G Suite its incredibly frustrating. Annoyingly it works on my sons huawei phone but not on my pixel :(

And the gold product expert didn't actually read the original post which says that the fault lies in Google assistant so being pointed to a basic android auto troubleshooting page is frustrating...

I have tried all of these. I am running Android 10 and the latest play store versions of all apps. The USB cable is the original one with my phone.

Thanks for the reply this doesnt solve the issue. Every time I try to send an sms I get an error saying "oops, something went wrong". It happens at various stages, sometimes I get to dictate a message and then when I say "send" it fails but normally it fails when I say "text Bob".

Its incredibly frustrating and I have been unable to find a solution on any forum.

Recently I have started having an issue where callers cant hear me and I cant hear them even though the call is connected. Sometimes if it is safe to do so I can swap to loud speaker and back to Bluetooth and that will sometimes fix it. Also the issue seems to be intermittent and it will work for a couple of calls then stop again.

I have removed device from the car (vauxhall insignia) and on the phone and reconnected but the problem persists. If I dont use Android Auto and just use the car's inbuilt phone app I have no issues.

For some months now I have been unable to send sms messages using assistant on Android Auto. After investigation I found that it was actually Google Assistant that was causing the problem and via online forums it looks like its a common issue among G Suite users.

I am using a free legacy G Suite account but seemingly that doesn't matter as paid users have the same issue.

I am using a pixel phone, running android 10 which i was hoping might include a fix but hasnt. My son who also uses G Suite doesnt have this issue but uses an Huawei device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated or a time line for when Google Assistant is likely to be updated with a fix, as this used to work.

I have the same issue. It's a joke that this has been happening for months and Google still don't fix it.
