Delete your data from Health Connect

You can now keep full control of the health and fitness data stored on your device with Health Connect.

You can also delete all your data, specific categories of data, specific data types, or all data from a previously connected app. You can also delete inaccurate data so that Health Connect doesn't merge it, or share it with other apps.

When you delete data, the data is deleted from your device’s Health Connect database. Other apps or devices may have a copy of your data. If you want to completely delete the data from all apps and devices, you may need to delete the data on each individual app or device.

For example, if you’ve deleted all sleep-related data from Health Connect, but want to delete that data from the sleep app that generated it, you can open the sleep app and follow the instructions provided by the app's developer.

Important: Other apps or devices might have a copy of your data stored. Visit their settings and guides to delete it from there as well.
